• Rotational Direction: If Gear A turns clockwise, which way does Gear D turn?
• Gear Ratios: Calculating how many revolutions a small gear makes compared to a large one.
• Mechanical Advantage: Understanding how pulley systems reduce the force needed to lift a weight.

2. Force, Torque & Levers

• The Law of the Lever: Knowing where to place a fulcrum to lift the heaviest load with the least effort.
• Wrench Logic: Why a longer wrench makes it easier to loosen a rusted bolt (Torque = Force x Distance).
• Equilibrium: Predicting which side of a beam will tilt under specific weights.

3. Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics

• Pressure: How water pressure changes at different depths or through different pipe
diameters.
• Piston Logic: How a small amount of force on a small piston can move a large load on a bigger piston.

• Heat Transfer: Understanding how heat moves through different materials (Conduction vs. Convection).
